How do you guys situate yourself to do your reading at home? Couch? Recliner? Hammock? :P

I just lay down on my couch, which is fine, but I'm thinking of getting a Stressless reclining chair or similar, to positively reinforce my reading habit. Open to suggestions!

I switch a bunch: several chairs throughout the house, in which I can sit in various positions, lying down on my side on the ground, walking around, lying sideways across the bed with my feet on a footrest and the book on the floor…

I lie on my side in my (loft) bed.

Typically I like to read sitting in my recliner, but now that my recliner has been consigned to the basement (RIP) I sit on the couch. I can't really read lying down for long periods of time, as I'm too fat to really lie on my belly comfortably and it gets tiring to hold the book lying on my back.

Reading while stretching is fun, especially gravity-assisted stretches where no muscle activation is needed.

Bed, sometimes the couch.

Bed, chair, recliner, couch, floor, wandering around the house, sitting in the car, on the John, at a table or desk, on top of the kitchen countertop. . . . I’m not at all consistent.

Lying prone, belly down on my bed, as I have since I was a kid.

I do most of my reading on the bus, my commute involves a 30 minutes ride each way. It's usually uninterrupted except days when there's a friendly schizo in one of the border sewsts.

Objectively I’ve gotten the best reading sessions done on desks, but lacking a desk at the moment I just read in bed.

Lay in bed.
