Notes -
Was holding off with posting, hoping I could show something off, but I'm still in research mode. The crawler / search index things looks like it's going to be too complicated right now, so I was revisiting my old turn everything into RSS solution, seeing if I can strap on a crawler on it. Miniflux even has some tools that could be extended to handle it... but it's not particularly extension-friendly. I was trying to come up with a way to rearrange my modifications so it will be easier to keep it up to date with the main repository, but so far it only gave me a headache.
How have you been doing @Southkraut?
Managed to add a little to my very basic FPS controls. Namely: Shooting. Baby steps. Most importantly, left clicking makes a vaguely bang-like sound that I found in a free sound pack, not exactly high quality stuff. Need a better source for sounds. I got a few more audio clips from various cost-free sources, and got Audacity and Audiomass as editors, but so far I haven't done anything with that.
I still hate how .cpp files clutter up my IDE. I attempted asking for a solution on the JetBrains discord, but as so often it was about as good as throwing a message in a bottle into the nearest drainhole.
Next step. Spawning a projectile. I actually found some very decent written official documentation that’s up-to-date, comprehensive and highly readable. Not doing anything flashy, but I guess that’s just what I need. It works. Bullet is spawned and flies off and bounces off of terrain as desired.
I wanted to make a custom player and enemy mesh for some basic FPS stuff, got myself Blender, stared at a grey cube for a few minutes and called it a day. Need to wrangle with that a little; right now I don't know where to start. Just some very basic sculpting, rigging and animation would be nice, but I don't know about the workflow yet. It's not strictly necessary; ultimately I'm fine with just using non-animated compounds of geometric primitives, but I'm curious to experiment a little here.
Overall I'm slowly growing to better understand Unreal and its Blueprints. Making progress is nice, however slow.

Do Pushups Post
Pushups from 18 to 21.
Pullups stay the same. 7. With an added focus on chinups for biceps. Using limited range of movement, not pulling too far up so the tension stays on the bicep.
Note on pushup form: Stand upright, put your hands in front of you mimicking a pushup. Instead of going straight, back and forth, push your arms up as you push them outwards. If you put pressure 'up' as you're doing the pushup you get much better upper chest activation. Makes pushups a real joy.
Never tried that, might have to incorporate that into the many pushup variants I am familiar with. My favorites include:
Archer pushups - pushups where the torso is biased towards one side, to put more weight on each side of the chest. Decline pushups - feet are propped up on an elevated surface, putting more weight on the upper body Diamond/kettlebell pushups - place a kettlebell in front of you and do pushups with your hands on it, really works the center chest.
Once you start getting to 40+ pushups at once, the variants start making things interesting!
Edit: I think the parent post was supposed to be on the Wellness Wednesday thread
Seems to belong there.

My self-imposed NaNoWriMo is going far from according to plan. Since starting on February 10th I've only written ~4,300 words. Need to pick up the pace.
