Notes -
The Browns Eagles game is turning into a real clash of the stoppable force and the movable object so far. Absolute farce.
[Stacey Abrams] is going all #MeToo on Watson. I'll be shocked if they get out if this without a suspension.

George Kittle proved, once again, he's one of the best tight ends in the league.

The Seahawks lost on a last-second highlight reel play, and have now lost two in a row before hosting the 9ers on Thursday.
Unfortunately losing to the Giants puts a damper on anyone's spirits, and letting backup RBs run all over you is never what you want to see, especially from a new coach who is supposedly defensive minded. This is after the defense couldn't stop the Lions at all the week prior. Fortunately the NFC West is not looking great, but the season is early, and Seattle doesn't look anywhere near good enough to be safe.
If we're talking about painful defeats, look no further than the Bengals flubbing the one field goal they needed to beat the Ravens.
Yeah, I saw that one, too. Botched hold.
A third bad beat, the Bills were unable to get a first down to try to put the game away, and gave Houston another chance at a field goal.

The Jets’ owner has, per the NYT, unilaterally fired Robert Saleh after a 2-3 start amid high expectations. It was reported the owner discussed the firing with GM Joe Douglass, beforehand. And per CBS, Saleh was considering firing offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett prior to getting canned himself.
This is delicious. The offense stinks and it appears they’re still all-in on an aged Rodgers, and perhaps sacked Saleh to keep Rodgers happy, as they let the quarterback pick Hackett to be the team’s offensive coordinator during their courtship of him, as Rodgers and Hackett are friends from their time in Green Bay.
A moody ayahuasca-enthusiast is the most-powerful person in the Jets organization, at least through 2025 if they want to avoid a cap hit. And there’s no proper chain of command.
While i have a lot of sympathy for the fans, this is also somehow "peak Jets".

Seems like Buffalo will have a pretty good game come Monday.

I'm surprised. Saleh coached the hell out of that team last year, and he's more of a defensive guy anyway.
Though I guess this goes back to my theory that once you're invested at QB it goes Coordinators -- Head Coach -- Cut bait at QB and either pray for a miracle or a rebuild.

Garrett Wilson had 22 targets last week. Twenty-two.
Breece Hall is averaging 3 yards per carry.
The offense stinks, but I don't think that's on Rodgers. These are scheme issues, and if Hackett is still calling plays, the scheme issues will continue.
