The Wednesday Wellness threads are meant to encourage users to ask for and provide advice and motivation to improve their lives. It isn't intended as a 'containment thread' and any content which could go here could instead be posted in its own thread. You could post:
-
Requests for advice and / or encouragement. On basically any topic and for any scale of problem.
-
Updates to let us know how you are doing. This provides valuable feedback on past advice / encouragement and will hopefully make people feel a little more motivated to follow through. If you want to be reminded to post your update, see the post titled 'update reminders', below.
-
Advice. This can be in response to a request for advice or just something that you think could be generally useful for many people here.
-
Encouragement. Probably best directed at specific users, but if you feel like just encouraging people in general I don't think anyone is going to object. I don't think I really need to say this, but just to be clear; encouragement should have a generally positive tone and not shame people (if people feel that shame might be an effective tool for motivating people, please discuss this so we can form a group consensus on how to use it rather than just trying it).

New web serial out from yours truly:
Presenting The Dao of Simulation :
It was an enjoyable read on my way back from work. I was a bit confused about what's a Cultivation, and what's an Ancestor Simulation but re-reading the blurb sorted it out for me. I may have also been paying too much attention to the bug reports (and scratching my head afterwards), on the assumption that they'll provide insight into the rules of the world you're setting up.
Anyway, consider me intrigued, I'll keep reading!
Some of the bug reports certainly allude to future events, just as the issues with disconnected players just vibing in there, but if they're already fixed, then it's just random worldbuilding (I like funny Dwarf Fortress patch notes)

I'm surprised that someone who isn't at least passingly familiar with Xianxia read this! Cultivation is basically Chinese Fantasy, or at least a big part of it. It involves absurd power scaling, like the Big Bad Evil Guy from a typical Western novel, like Sauron, would be a dog's dog in a Xianxia novel after the first few chapters. You should look at the tropes, they're a hoot.
An Ancestor Simulation relates to the Simulation Hypothesis, in this case it's some distant civilization running a simulation of their ancestral environment, it's been a long time since humanity left Earth and took over the stars, but there are always weirdos who like poking at the old monkeys, even the virtual ones.
