And if they did surrender, then what? Likud is dedicated to preventing a Palestinian state and certainly accept one state solution with full voting rights for all palestinians. Palestinians were fighting with Israel back before Hamas even existed.

It isn't Trump the person that is getting the ire of the security establishment/power elite, but the policies he is claiming to represent and desires to implement.
Policies like First step act and Platinum plan? "Take the guns first, due process later"? Running up trillion dolar deficits?Maybe dems are angry because Trump was stealing from their playbook.
Giving up on Trump sends the message that their concerns can be ignored and brushed over for the sake of petty excuses
Then why is Ann Coulter for dropping Trump and nominating DeSantis? Or Massie?
Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton both have committed far more egregious crimes and problematic behaviors when compared to Trump, but nobody cares because they are fighting for the security establishment/power elite.
Sure, but that doesn't mean that Trump is innocent. Half of the prison population could be less guilty than those two for all I know.

Of course law enforcement policy influences crime levels, it's the whole point.
My point was that whole Syrian civil war was a huge debacle in general, I wouldn't be in favor of further US involvement even if chemical attacks were by Assad's forces. They served no strategic purpose other than possibly justify western escalation, question as always is - who benefits?

In Syria, US was backing jihadist terrorists against a secular government. Probably the only reason there are any syrian christians left is that Assad won the civil war.
Libya was a complete disaster.

Third world immigration was never popular anywhere in the west, there was no referendum on this. Italians voted for less immigration, got more. UK voted for brexit expecting less immigration and got more. Quit victim blaming ordinary Europeans.

Left just likes reserving their sympathy for the worst people. They consider themselves superior for it, because any shmuck can have sympathy for a victim of violent crime, but only sophisticated people (or other criminals) would have it for the violent criminal.
