While it's literally true that Venezuela is not a narco-state, it's hard to imagine it getting any worse than it already is. The reason it's not a narco-state now has probably more to do with the surrounding economics (oil is more valuable than drugs) than the current government's competence.
Well, IQ is heritable from both parents, so a "Female IQ shredder" is just an IQ shredder.
Of course, the other element of the metaphor is that you're not just shredding for the sake of it: there have been a lot of productivity gains from the agglomeration effects of cities. "IQ shredders" points to the trade-offs present in urbanization.
The Somali fraud YouTuber is also a Mormon, so it checks out.
As I understand it, this is part of the problem: since your loss ratio is floored at 80%, you don't have a strong incentive to manage costs. There is actually a bit of the opposite one: the higher the costs, the higher the premiums, and the bigger is the base from which you derive profits.
Given the gender ratios, they're probably some of the least safe places.
Because it's a silly point to make in the context of whether they are acting on their stated beliefs, and whether that paid off vs a reasonable benchmark.
Absent that, it's pointless to discuss which or what asset performed better, should've bought Banco Santander stock.
I hate commissions as much as anyone, but that doesn't seem outrageous for this kind of strategy, it's probably far cheaper than trading it on your own, considering the outrageous commissions for futures contracts.
Those are different trades, though. (Warning: speculation on the price fluctuation of assets) The gold rally is due to a combination of "debasement trade" (the idea that current debt levels are unsustainable and the only way out is via printer) and a bet on multipolarity (USD status as reserve currency being threatened, due to a variety of reasons), silver is a speculative derivative of the same trade, as far as I know there is a lot of silver to mine everywhere still.
What @thejdizzler is talking about is a structural undersupply of copper, long term. I'm not actually sure if copper futures are the best expression of that trade, I assume you've bought the longest dated ones available?
Aren't prediction markets regulated by the CFTC?
Did he not already lose to the far less impressive Tommy Fury?
Edit: what I mean is, this doesn't seem like a part of this "story arc" progression.
Is food, excepting beef, really more expensive in real terms? Or do you mean like eating out?
If you're going to mod that comment for incivility, you need to call out the "Mhmm". Peak millennial snot filler word
If you're an AI maximalist, then anything that doesn't happen before AGI is basically meaningless: Climate change, peak oil, demographic collapse, etc.
but why cite someone who's literally at the top of their game?
I think not all entertainment is created equal for this purpose, forms of entertainment in which talent is more legible usually face less of this kind of criticism. There is a sense in which Shaq has less input than Bonnie Blue for his success, but nobody has any doubt that he's one of the best to ever do it. As you go further down the chain here (actors, adult performers, influencers), the "unfairness" becomes more salient.
I'm not saying it will never happen, but the technocratic democrats crave the validation of leftists way too much for that to be feasible in the short term. They might get the nevertrumpers to permanently sit in the cuck chair.
Presumably USD thousands per year
I'll give you German and Polish, and you can chalk up Spanish, Greek and maybe even Italian to a matter of taste, but to claim French cuisine is bad is either a grug-tier or a contrarían for its own sake opinion.
I think it would probably be fair to say that "leftists who care more about cultural issues than economic issues like the move".
The other way around, no?
Yes, actually that was a point I wanted to make and forgot about. The cost of labor is so high in rich countries that the quality of life for the middle class and the rich are degraded
This is my hope for an AI scenario: the downward pressure on labor cost should make services all around so much better. Of course, this really would only be good overall if the deflationary effects made up for it in total purchasing power.
I'm from Buenos Aires, and I say kill them all
nobody gets to buy coca leaves to chew for their mild buzz.
Only tangentially related, but in South America people still chew coca leaves as a home remedy for altitude sickness.
I agree with your general point, but Milo's problem in particular was that he alienated his base with his comments about homosexuality age-gap
Am I severely miscalibrated? Over 5% of total deaths sounds like a massive amount to me.
Possible blow to the "Cremieux is TrannyPorno" theory: https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2025/07/cremieux-jordan-lasker-mamdani-nyt-nazi-faliceer-reddit/
It should be noted that Cremieux denies the association, but the reason he gives is very weird, so who knows.

Over 20% of Venezuela's population has already emigrated, it's unlikely to ramp up significantly.
