Apparently just reading a David Burns CBT book is enough to cure most peoples depression, so I would guess if it copy that experience it should be pretty revolutionary for anyone willing to use a chatbot as a therapist (this is the biggest obstacle)

Some people just seek out drugs in a terminally irrational way. People look for all sorts of explanations- maybe it’s childhood trauma, maybe it’s society, maybe it’s lack of meaning or maybe it’s something else. But sometimes it’s just the type of person, a person who is chronically unsatisfied, very high in sensation seeking, impulsive and short term in thinking, and low in insight. Addicts are often born, not made. Why? Because drugs feel good, that’s about all there is to it. Which makes the above a deadly trait in todays society thanks to Mexican drug gangs having essentially open access to the americas drug markets

There’s no real end to the culture war. Battles and skirmishes can be won, but war….war never changes.
Those who say the lefts has won are mostly right wingers who spend a lot of time among cultural elites and other high status places and feel totally out of place and like a small minority. It’s easy to feel like you’ve lost when you see so little right wing influence anywhere

One of the biggest outcomes of this has to be that the Supreme Court will now become even more conservative than before, and for longer. We are looking at 10-20 years of conservative domination at least, and probably longer. Since, contra many thinkers, wokeness has definitely NOT peaked, and we are seeing further entrenchment of far left zoomers in institutions of power like law schools, medical schools, and the civil service, this will serve as a big stop-gap protecting liberalism and the constitution in America.
On the other hand, what will the ramifications be of the public increasingly seeing the Supreme Court as being so one-sided? Will it result in demoralization of the left, or further radicalization?
