I see that moreas she’s a striver who tries to parlay identity for her own ambition and status but I see your poin t
Those men of years past didn’t have twitter.
Elite human capitals propaganda is garbage these days. Haven’t you noticed? “The left can’t meme” is a truism for a reason
Wasn't the dissent there carried by a faction of elites, rather than plebs? They've learned their lesson; Harvard kids will probably not get drafted agai
Selective service just got expanded ro include women.
if you think the draft was unpopular when it was men coming back in body bags, then you haven’t seen anything yet
Another lose condition for your culture, then. I didn’t intend to catasrophize like this, but obviously literally losing to a foreign power is a lose condition.
So we go from western hegemony to a multipolar world (we are actually already there but many still haven’t woken up to that fact). I’m not miffed. Western hegemony has unleashed stagnation and decadence. Conflict breeds innovation and potentiates natural selection, important forces for revitalizing humanity
This is some fun fictional thought experiments but remember Vietnam? Remember fragging? I’m a millennial but even I know how bad things can get
If Trump calls Harris a DEI candidate then his audience cheers but ordinary suburban swing voters think "Is he really going there?" S
Affirmative action is incredibly unpopular across America. yet it surprises me how urban liberal types are so out of touch that they think people are clunching pearls over using DEI in a negative way. There’s a ton of resentful people who will be galvanized by seeing Kamala’s election as undeserved privilege being handed over yet again to someone with the right genitals and skin tone instead of the right merit
Probably will be harder to go after than JD vance.
You sure about that?

2023, Kamala Harris' running mate Tim Walz supported and the Minnesota legislature passed the following legislation:
— All limits on abortion at any stage of pregnancy were repealed, as were laws requiring doctors to treat infants born alive after an abortion. References to "women" in the new laws were replaced with "pregnant people".
— Minnesota declared itself a “refuge” for transgender surgeries and therapies for minors. Gender surgery will now to be publicly funded.
— Public and charter schools are mandated to teach “ethnic studies,” and school boards are instructed to adopt "antiracist" curricula and teach “the history of the genocide of Indigenous Peoples."
— Drivers’ licenses and state-funded health care are now available for illegal immigrants.
— Private religious colleges are forbidden to “require a faith statement” from enrolling students.
— Convicted felons now have the right to vote before completing parole or probation.
We are talking about a nation with an intelligence agency that sexually trafficked children in order to gather dirt on western leaders and celebrities. Why wouldn’t they murder some goy kids to further their aims?
Evangelical
Doesn’t help that the Christian evangelical wing of the party literally worships Israel as sacred.
Don’t jews in America vote Democrat at like a 70 percent rate?
There’s no evidence she is rinsing out the pot. I have no clue where you’re getting that from.
My googling says it’s nothing about “summoning” but rather a ward of protection
My reaction was condemning until more information came out, such as the bodycam footage that painted a very different picture.
Unfortunate that the liberal court didn’t allow the bodycam footage be to used as evidence for no reason outside of that it would have been exculpatory, but letting Chauvin walk would’ve inflamed things quite a bit I guess
Check on the burner does not mean “pick up the boiling water and approach us with it”, it doesn’t even mean turn it off although that it implied
That’s completely wrong and the opposite of what happened
Seems like a delicate balancing act, because if things boil over, and we get race riots, I could see backlash against BLM that we didn’t see in 2020
I can see how the general line would be insulting to the childless, but it’s also…kinda true? To take one prominent and recent example, Merkel destroyed Germany both economically and socially for the indefinite future, and it’s easy to see why you would spend a country into endless debt if you know it’s not going to affect you in a few decades anyway.
and it wasn't an issue at all.
Except the whole losing thing
Given that this seems to be the thread all about discussing Harris, can I bring up the fact that she is TINY.
She is only 5 foot 2. Versus Trumps 6 foot 3! I don’t mean to sound like some Height obsessed incel (probably too late for that now but anyway) that is just a yuuuge difference. If I were Trump I would demand any debate be on an open floor in a townhouse style so that it maximizes the height differential. Advantage: Trump
Yeah I have a feeling that when all those right wing boomers die off the world is gonna miss them a lot more than they think.
I thought the Lebanese were heavily into organized crime in Australia?
It turns out they mostly don't want to be stuck in racial ghettos and seen as seperate from the majority.
You sure about that?
Does the Australian police collect racial crime stats by any chance?
Didn’t LePenne come in second in the most recent elections? With a serious chance as well? Seems like this just boosted her odds
Sounds like the wording of the poll was biased to get the answers WaPo wanted. Because, at least the last time I checked, this is essentially affirmative action which has always been unpopular even among African Americans
