Well Nixon's opening to China solved the cold war, Trump may try to engineer it's own opening to Russia - so you need someone that is dove-ish on Ukraine but hawkish on China. Rubio seems to fit the bill.
China needs to be managed. They want 2 things - the nine dash line and Taiwan. Both are negotiable I think, but there needs to be sticks and carrots.

I think that we should create a CDS - car derangement syndrome, similar to TDS. To me it seems that those are the types of people that just plain hate cars and are latching on everything to make the anti car case.

When was the moment when you saw the first cracks in the dem machine (disclaimer I was prepared for Kamala win) - for me it was when Obamas tried to talk in woke to the black men from the working class. To me it was - if Obama has turned into (or confirmed that he always was) a woke white dude wearing blackface - yup , the leadership could be this disconnected from the reality.

Harris staffers seem to have been running a campaign that appeals to them, personally, with the celebrity concerts and so forth. A fun big party for the Dem staffer class. Of course what appeals to the Dem staffer class is not what appeals to the voting public, in many ways opposite to it.
The parallels between She Hulk Attorney at law and kamala's campaign are writing themselves. Up to Megan Thee Stallion's ass twerking convincing the public that showrunners have no idea what they are doing. And the end results.

Social media video shared by the embassy showed what it said was violence against Maccabi fans. CNN has not yet been able to verify those videos.
Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof said he was in touch with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the “completely unacceptable anti-Semitic attacks on Israelis.”
“I am in close contact with all those involved. Just now in a call with (the Israeli Prime Minister) Netanyahu emphasized that the perpetrators will be tracked down and prosecuted. It is now quiet in the capital,” Schoof said in a statement on X.
So there's that. The EU definitely has a problem. To which it is oblivious.

One of the jokes I never saw this election (and 2020, 2016) is someone using the "tomorrow belongs to me" clip from Cabaret as a representation of a Trump rally. And with so much Nazi name calling it really looks like a strange omission - it is a catchy song, it is just enough tongue in cheek to pass a just joking bro or to be posted ironically and it has all the needed elements to go viral.

The idea that abortion is some killer issue for Dems is overblown.
I think that the whole - it is a states issue finally penetrated into the thinner side of the thicker skulls. As in - I can fight in my state. Which makes local politics higher stake, but national lower.

We live in timeline in which crazy things do happen. And I don't know - this Trump feels different. Somewhat more determined and responsible. I don't think it is out of question. Especially if he stumps for the 2026 midterms.
Could be wrong though.
So Trump has beaten three women so far - Hilary, Kamala, and Ivana.
Anyway - I am high on other peoples meltdowns and having lots of fun, but try not to be obnoxious to the IRL people I know. Twitter is fun. Probably even better than 2016.
