If the lower courts' treatment of 2A cases after Bruen are any indication, I imagine any AA cases will work around SCOTUS in any way possible (and even openly defy them).

The whole myth that precum can inseminate women is another lie we were all fed as children.

It technically can, if you had sex already recently and didn't urinate between then and now. So yeah, pretty damn unlikely.

This actually points to a something I've never heard a great answer on. How, in a world with ubiquitous condoms and the pill are we hitting 1 million abortions a year.

I genuinely can't think of an answer to this other than "a lot of people really like raw-dogging, and a lot of women really hate the side effects of the pill, and a lot of people are just really fucking stupid and don't know how pregnancy works."

It only takes a few hundred to a few thousand truly dedicated activists to do that though. The Westboro Baptist Church has under a hundred members and was able to grab national headlines and led to tons of lawfare.

See the Twilight Zone "I'M HITLER?!" meme

Random question, but are you female? I've noticed that women tend to give a far, far higher signifigance to puberty than men. For most men it's just a few years of aching from growth spurts, getting made fun of when your voice cracks, and constant no reason (and yes reason) boners.

As far as I’m aware, there are only a handful of countries on earth with compulsory military service, and most of those impose the same requirement on women!

Objection, arguing facts not in evidence. Only seven countries conscript women, and even then they aren't put in roles that are likely to see combat.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conscription#Drafting_of_women

Also almost every single country on earth has conscription or a draft.

but that does not mean that everyone who didn't is a primitive economic basketcase

Ah, well I don't agree with those other posters' assessment there. I was just pointing out that Germany (and the Soviets) used far more livestock for their logistics than you would be led to believe from just seeing random photos/footage of their militaries in WW2

Both Germany and the USSR primarily used horses and mules for logistics in WW2 (about 2.5 million horses were used by the Germans, about 3.5 million used by the Soviets). This is why the US providing tons of trucks to the Soviets (and tons of fuel) under Lend-Lease was such a huge deal. Both sides tended to film their more highly mechanized divisions for their propaganda videos, which is why you don't see the horses in WW2 footage too much.

I grew up in the San Diego area, and recall environmentalists opposing transmission lines from new desert solar plants into the city because it threatened some desert tortoise's habitat. Environmentalists have been this way for decades, at least right wing environmentalists like Uncle Ted and the anarchoprimitivists are honest about their intentions:

Also for anyone wondering after reading the environmentalist article, given that I grew up less than a mile away from the edge of the Cleveland National "Forest," it ain't no forest.

Are there any people who call you sir and treat you with respect? Or is the mere act of calling you sir disrespectful?

"ma'am" is the word other people use to greet me. I'm surprised you haven't run into it before? You'd have to ask them what they mean by it, I'm not the one using it.

But sir, you said that you prefer to be called "ma'am." Why do you have a preference if you don't know what they mean?

That would seem like a weird thing to say

You're not a ma'am. If you're going to continue to insist that you are, then please define ma'am.

If you're going to split hairs here then how about this (in addition to what @ControlsFreak said): a FtM trans wants acne medication. The medication is known to be harmful to pregnant females. The patient is visibly pregnant. Were they biologically male, the acne medication would be the right prescription with minimal side effects. The patient's government issued id says they are male.

Can the patient sue the doctor for discrimination if they refuse to give them the prescription? If the doctor relents and her baby is born with birth defects can they sue the doctor for that?

And if you're going to nitpick about pregnancy status being different from sex, then imagine a drug that has significantly different effects on women vs. men, or that she isn't visibly pregnant. Use the "Least Convenient Possible World" to avoid easy outs and address the meat of ControlsFreak's argument.

Why should the ruler stay, but not this app's restriction based on biological sex?

While I do agree that Western estimates aren't to be trusted, Russia hasn't given us any casualty numbers to compare (other than a claim of 5,000 or so made fairly early on in the war). In war, truth is the first casualty, and we aren't going to get any reliable numbers until after the war is over. Or maybe never, given the wildly varying estimates you can still see for many historical conflicts.

American citizens are arrested abroad for crimes that are not crimes in America all the time, and beyond some vague consular action that occasionally partially (but not wholly) limits a sentence the US is often fine with it.

But how often does this happen for speech made in the US?

You'll find little disagreement from me here, my default assumption is that 99% of MtF are autogynephiliacs and/or mentally ill, and 99% of FtM are girls who who sexually abused and/or mentally ill. The only part I think is really undecided for me is exactly how the breakdown is for perverts vs. mentally ill vs. both.

In my tiny part of the right, at least, there is still discussion of the women who get abortions. But it's not calling them sluts, it's usually calling them HR harpies who find making useless PowerPoints for $60k a year more fulfilling than motherhood. Or generally other attacks along those lines of enjoying meanginless careers, or vapid and empty lifestyles, more than motherhood.

Many MtF trans have a deep seated hatred of biological women, and many even see themselves as superior to actual women

Plenty of 'women' engineers with said capabilities.

In my experience, those 'women' are some of the most misogynistic people I've ever encountered.

I guess one possibility is powerful women rule over men backed by T-3000 terminators and a matriarchy that provides women with government sponsored AI husbandos.

I don't see that happening without a large number of tech savvy simps making them, there simply isn't a high enough quantity of women with the capabilities (software engineering, hardware/weapons engineering, and manufacturing) to ever make that a reality.

If you want a hilarious example of this, check out Deep Blue Fleet. Basic premise is that when Yamamoto was assassinated in WW2, instead of dying he got isekai'd into... his younger self in 1905 with all of the knowledge of what would happen. He rapidly modernizes the Japanese fleet (including creating a bunch of submarine aircraft carriers, which is where the title of the anime comes from) and Japan basically dominates the world.

Absolutely hilarious revanchist slop, but a fun insight into the mindset of revanchist Japanese anime nerds.

I really enjoyed Stardew Valley, but I'm not really sure what refinements it provided that you couldn't find in the Japanese-made Story of Seasons (formerly known as Harvest Moon due to complicated copyright/trademark reasons) and Rune Factory games.

The Koreans dramas have a much higher international reception even in English media because the Koreans stay shamelessly pretty, and have the extensive plastic surgery to keep it up.

I distinctly remember an ad for some K-Drama streaming service that had "The prettiest people crying" as an explicit selling point.
