Let's move the line even further in your direction. I am happy with anyone that isn't an active resource and time suck for everyone around them and for society at large. Don't even have to contribute, just don't make things worse for people.

This is in no way the same as bringing someone you know has an extra chromosome or the like into the world. A veteran has contributed and sacrificed everything for a goal we all at least ostensibly believe in. A retarded child does the opposite and I've seen them swallow whole families with their needs.
Not just the family either, I've watched special needs kids ruin whole classrooms and cause endless distraction, assault and sexually assault other students, all at the low low price of like 100k a year for their Special Ed needs and minders. For what? So they can live with their parents until their parents die and then become wards of the state? Why are we sending them to public school to the detriment of all other children?

Catholic Charities is the largest one. They contract with the fed gov and states to resettle people everywhere, if the local spot can handle it, great, if not, they don't give a shit. They plant people and move on, they get paid good money for it too.

For most of recorded history hard times created stunted dumb peasants that were 5 feet tall and had an IQ of 95 max. You want good times with a challenge, you don't want HARD TIMES™.
I think this ignores the human capacity for imagination and reason. No other animal even understands the connection between sex and pregnancy, it is all just biological drives. Humans are special in that we have evolved beyond being slaves to our biology.
In the past couple of hundred thousand years humans were not much different than some animals in that we didn't really have the capacity to stop pregnancies easily and for many of those eons seemed not to really understand the sexual process and resulting children all that well. Children were also a value add for the tribe, community, family in that they were needed for labor and warfare and continuity and you could see those effects in front of your face.
We are now very detached from any economic positives from our own children but very exposed to all of the negatives. The balance for the individual has shifted, you should really only have kids now if you think you'll enjoy it. Imagine if a mother octopus knew what was coming, I think the species would be dead in 10 years.

I'm reading his bio here and it seems like a life of tryhard failing up. The man almost got expelled at the finishing school Andover (repeating 9th grade!) due to bad grades. I did summer soccer camps and stayed in the dorms with Andover kids, not a hard school to stay in... parents tend to send their less exceptional kids there to polish them up a bit, or to get better at a sport with a super senior year and not waste their eligibility years.
Meanwhile Columba Bush managed to marry into one of the most powerful families in the world while coming from basically nothing, has managed to avoid the pitfalls that can come with that, and now has three children that seem smarter than JEB! Who is the dysgenic one here?

An offer of freedom isn't a punishment. If you're going to offer men bounties for marrying flawed modern women, then yes that's a whole different story. $902.00 seems like way too much for a small meat kid goat. The max I have ever seen for those at our fair is like $250 and that is if you're going to breed them first. Unless that picture is from well before the goat was sold. Even then $902 for a finished meat goat direct to slaughter is too much.

You cannot justifiably in any sort of good faith punish men for not wanting to "settle down" with a former college party favor any more than you could justifiably punish them for not agreeing to permanently staple a bag of dog feces to their forehead. The limit of public policy is where people would rather accept any punishment you can reasonably enforce than comply, and trying to force men to LARP a happy tradlife with former campus bicycles is definitely past that limit for a not insignificant number of men.
Whew, this is a lot...There is also a precedent for it multiple times recent western history, from Jamestown to Australia, with my favorite being Parisian prisoners being offered freedom if they agreed to marry prostitutes and move to Louisiana. So yes we have punished men for not "stapling dogshit to their heads."
I also don't know if you went to college, but if you did you should know that most women aren't "bicycles", sure there were some, but that has always been the case.
