Is this an observation you made yourself, or is it a running gag? I do recall some time ago perceptive lolcow who called it a '4chan retirement home' and I found that piercing.
In any case, you really should try something like RSS or gaining sovereignty over your 'feed' - leaving it up to a third party like Reddit is asking for trouble.

I, for one, enjoy olives - black, or green, or stuffed with pimento. I put them on pizza more often than not, and this seems to be a popular arrangement since it is offered by major American pizza franchises - and I don't see them offering capers. I think they're more popular than we realize.

I prefer the CZ 75 platform which is another steel-frame pistol - it is double-single action without a safety. Adrenaline spike reduces fine-motor control; with gross motor control taking over I don't want to fumble with a safety. The heavy trigger pull of the initial double-action is enough safety, and if you shot once you are probably shooting more, and past the initial shot it is single action.
However, I prefer Colt Python or S&W 686. No safety, leave it inert in a drawer, neglected, for decades, and it will still reliably work when you need it after all those years. Perhaps a 1911 or CZ-75 would too, but I just have peace of mind with a revolver. It also looks even more neat.

Sado forum is offline (anyone have archives?), I suppose that is where this term is from. Where is this model best elucidated prior to what you've posted here? I understand the Sado forum owner created a Substack, but this term must predate that.

Let me know if this is better suited for the suggestions thread, but as it stands Skylab's comment is at 20 downvotes. Is Skylab not contributing to the conversation? Not enough evidence of claims? Is TheMotte.org userbase already eagerly using downvoting as a disagree button?
Not that this necessarily applies here, but I always thought of a solution where mods could booby-trap unpopular but constructive comments - high-signal rule-conforming comments, and automatically warn or even temporarily remove voting privileges from users who downvote the tripwired comment to 'train' them. I probably would've already tripped this trap a couple times by now, fwiw. This might lead to accusations of mod-favoritism.

Wouldn't a glycemic spike have to do with the carbohydrate/sugar load? If you look at a glycemic index chart you see plenty of unprocessed foods at the very top which will spike your blood sugar - such as white rice.
