I got the current CRPG humble bundle https://www.humblebundle.com/games/rpg-legends-baldurs-gate-beyond-bundle
and I am wondering what my playthrough priority will be (if I manage to not pile of shame the majority of games :/ )
Included games:
-
Pathfinder WOTR
-
Neverwintern Nights Complete
-
BG 2 enhanced Complete (also Dragonspear)
-
BG 1 enhanced
-
Planescape Torment enhanced
-
Icewind Dale enhanced
I think my favourite of those is the old planescape, but I also played this the most times already in my lifetime. Any fellow CRPG-enjoyers here? Whats your favourite? Any moderately unknown CRPGs you can recommend?
I think the neo-liberal, globalist types (maybe not so much the woke kind) dont need to acknowledge the group differences, as their vision is honestly a "globohomo" human - mankind consisting of fully atomized individuals without any distinct features, be it culturally or biologically.
For example look at the new "lord of the rangz" or "the witcher" TV shows. Every group in itself is a mixture of all races with no connection to the lore. Race is treated like eye color - something totally random with no deeper implications.
Thus the status quo does not really need a "great lie". It is simply regarded as a very temporary state that will quickly and "organically" be overcome. I think this is honestly the view of most political elites of the WEF type (aka the ones in power in most western countries) - at least in europe.
I realize it might be useful to discuss your thoughts seperately for the US due to its distinct history with race compared with most other western countries.
It would be helpful for this discussion to provide a strict definition of "gender war" first (or at least try to).
In my personal worldview, "gender war" is not really its own thing. The observations you make seem to be more a consequence downstream of the general atomisation of society caused by modernity. The bond between man and woman seems like one of the final units to split up in this process of increasing entropy, largely enabled by technology (contraceptives, service economy).
To speak of a "gender war" means moving largely into the frame of neo-marxism (see your point #2), where one always needs groups/classes to pit against each other to provide a worldview. E.g. in my country, leftists speak of "femicide", when a woman gets killed by her male partner. This wording implies that its somehow "all the men's fault".
The topic is interesting, because IMHO personal relationships (or lack thereof) are a strong entry point to persuade individuals more on the left of the need for some kind of narrative bonding modern people together and somehow working to reverse the ever increasing entropy of society.

This to me at least is an uncommon usage of "Leninism". Other spheres use "Leninism" to describe the process of lifting up a cohort of lesser qualified/politically irrelevant people to power as a mechanism of ensuring loyalty. See also "Bioleninism".
