yes, but I would imagine the difficulty of finding him would ramp up in inverse correlation with the notoriety of the person doing the searching. Not unlike someone ducking loan collectors but being readily available to go to the pub with friends.

Is he there?

But forcing us to use trans people's pronouns (and hence lie)? No, not really. Maybe people might complain about it on internet forums and amongst close friends (I have friend who finds it annoying like you do), but I don't think they'll do anything about it.

The important thing to keep in mind is that the chulthu swims to the left, preferred pronouns may feel like a new issue, but at this point in any sufficiently big organization, it is already claimed territory by the progs. As you say in the preceding paragraph, the new thing is trans kids. I don't think the millions of Americans with compelled speech in their workplace feel very strongly about it, they are fat and lazy and have very comfortable lives, but it will be interesting to see how they deal with their kids being transed.

"It's not costless to me, compelled speech is my one issue"

I have a few comments saved, but I don't think it alerts you to responses, you would have to check periodically and keep track of which comments you have already seen.

nothing says "living in the wild" like living in a welfare state, these people live in another reality alright.

I would like to posit that we need a function like "watch a post" or something to that effect where you are notified everytime the post you are watching is replied to. Very important for contentious topics where you don't want to clutter the thread with useless responses, but want to follow along the conversation and respond in the future if apropiate.

surely there is a MAGA ymeskhout out there, right?

but if the rat utopia is any indication, it is also inevitable.

to be honest that would be a cool aesthetic.

to that add the "suspension bridge" effect and I would assume they are very, very horny.

But I don't think either were inspired by The Terminator or other such works of scifi.

we are in agreement on that point then.

what do you think is more probable, that the Doomers saw Terminator in theaters when they were children or that they watched Anime related to AI doom?.

but Doomers are not a majority of people and are, IMHO, very different from regular people.

that is a major disagreement we have there. To me Doomers and "rationalists" in general are just regular people very good at rationalizing their biases.

Also, I'm assuming AIM doesn't stand for AOL Instant Messenger, but I don't know what it refers to.

Sorry, it was supposed to be AM not AIM. From I have no mouth and I must scream.

now compare that to anime, that at that time was much less mainstream (I would posit unknown to the general western population above 30) and in the west lacked stories that could be interpreted as the basis for the Doomer cult centered on AI. As for your observations of The Terminator, I will just posit that, that is the number 1 franchise the mayority of people think of when Killer AI is mentioned, and Skynet when adversarial AI's enter the conversation, followed in close second by AIM and HALL 9000.

Half the population would be enough, I reckon.

I don't think anime is to blame for all the Doomers in AI, I would rather blame movies like Terminator.

it's what happens when you live and breathe Burger politics. Unless it wan be weaponized to harrass those other guys it is ignored.

It ought to be convincing in that generally Republicans want Republicans to win, and so allowing a plot against Republicans to succeed in a GOO-controlled state is not what we would expect.

Only if you consider Trump a neocon, when in reality he is more outsider to the whole political scene than anything.

Trump lost the popular

But he is white, so there is that.

When adjusted for the total amount of time the child spends in their company (I won't count the inherent trust of the relationship since trust is what we're debating in the first place)? Doubt it would be significant. 77% divided by ~10 years, compared to however many% are relative strangers divided by however much time they spend in the company of a given relative stranger.

the point I was trying to make with that example is that:

I assume you have numerous concessions and allowances for your "friends" and "family"... whose "brain chemicals" "rob them of the ability" to kill you.

isn't a sure. It may be true in general (maybe?), but not always. They have the ability to kill you, but there are incentives that make that course of action less optimal to them that pacific coexistence (see "crimes of passion" for when the incentives aren't enough of a deterrent).

Even most criminals and organized gangsters have end-goals that aren't "kill everyone I see".

"end-goals" there is doing a lot of heavy lifting. Swab's end-goal inn Ether mindscape isn't to torture the proles in perpetuity but as he put it "about enforcing your will on the proles where they lick your boots and ask for more". More to your point how about gladiatorial games for amusement?

I was only giving some pseudo-examples of "the real power" Ether was talking about. In Rusia and China they are more similar to what is being asserted, in the west the power is a little more diffused and is focused in narrow niches of your life.

Aren't Friend and Family something like the biggest class of people that abuse children? (the Brave summarizer "According to the National Children's Alliance, in substantiated child abuse cases, 77% of children were victimized by a parent.")

As another point, in the third world, if you aren't acting like a "hyper-paranoid schizo" in relation to traffic when you are a pedestrian, you become another cross in the sidewalk. But in general there is nothing more blackpilling that being politically aware in a thirdworld country.

the easy ones are the more blatant power brokers (Probably incredible rich too), like Xi and Putin; they have their fiefdoms and control absolutely (apparently). But there are subtleties to this issue:

The power brokers for what is acceptable to be commercialized at a global scale: The Visa and Mastercard CEO's and their team/Their board of directors

What is acceptable to be discussed online: the ones in charge of the different Online stores be it the AppStore or the Google Play Store. It's probably a team effort, something like a security and inclusion team or something.

What is acceptable to be watched online and/or on TV: the CEO's of the different production companies (Netflix, Hollywood Studios execs, etc.) for the mainstream stuff; for the YouTubes of the world the power is more diffused between the security and inclusion teams in each company, the big spenders in adds (Coca-cola, Banks, Automotive companies) and the Journalist class.

And so on and so forth in every aspect of your life.

The money used to pay that filth comes from somewhere no?.

encourage anyone to buy Doritos

"Doritos?"
