Agreed, but if a comparable subreddit was started for trans suicides or other left-orientated 'natural consequences of indulging the initial reflex to do something dumb' it would be nuked from orbit.

Exactly. The homeless problem in Australia has expanded, but generally the times I feel any real intrusion from a homeless person is when they're clearly impaired by some sort of substance and thereby considerably more likely to perform random violence. The Summer of Love was lovely, but why in this Fentanyl-infused era do we need to continue tolerating it?

Potentially, but it looks like the people trying to oust him have lost a lot of momentum at this point and most of the potential challengers have flipped to supporting his candidacy.
He could always have a change of heart, but why now instead of last week?

There literally isn't a mechanism for anything you're describing without Biden resigning (at which point he likely strongly recommends Harris which would be path of least resistance) or dying (again, most likely Harris) in the next 2 weeks.

I think Poly is hypothetically possible to do in a healthy manner but requires a lot of coordination, patience and understanding between a bunch of quasi-romantically entangled people and has such a tightrope effect that it's probably not worth exploring just to occasionally hump a different partner.

OP didn't mention any particular romantic success on his coworker's part, just that he was good at job skills. I'd be willing to wager that they're sufficiently far onto the spectrum that the dating market had essentially completely rejected them, leading to trans affiliation as a hugbox.

I was running markets on the election. Gotta say RN did slightly worse than expected but people assuming/acting like they were poised to win an outright majority were insane. I think this is a good step forward for them, especially as the Presidential election will likely be after 2-3 years of not much happening.

I'd say this is about a 30th percentile from expectations. They were about 12% to win straight up this time last week. People assuming a majority didn't actually do any research on the matter, but I think it'll actually provide a good foothold for the next Presidential elections as it's a not a particularly consequential election to lose but it should lead to 2-3 years of minority government dithering by the powers that be.
I also feel if there was a grand rally in turnout to 'stave off fascism' that it's unlikely to come a second time in a few years.

Eh next nomination will be a contested field. I think this is why Newsom's gotten behind the Biden run since he'd be way more handicapped by Harris running-and-winning than anything else. Practically all the other non-Harris challengers are better off with Biden running and losing than potentially getting sidelined behind somebody who actually wins and has a second term of eligibility.
Biden win means it's pretty open slather next cycle.
Issue at the moment for the replacement enthusiasts is that they need Biden to resign.

I've dated in these sort of fanfiction-enthused circles, and whilst I agree it's something a lot of the girls with somewhat grow out of there's a lot of.. uh... tangled desires towards the Fifty Shades of Grey stuff that comes with limited romantic experience, exposure to older men and especially with people in some sort of fandom roles.
I agree he was cringe and should have known better, but I also feel that this is clearly a matter of retroactively revoked consent a decade later. I wouldn't want my daughter hanging out with him, but this is standard horny nerd stuff to me.
Also he and his wife had an open relationship and there's texts of them communicating about their various affairs.
And even if you're a very good tightrope walker a bad day or two on the tightrope and you've got to spend a lot of time rehabilitating an exponentially complicated web of relationships. In which the benefit is potentially maybe being able to occasionally indulge in a new sexual partner (and if you're longterm stable Poly you're probably not even doing that any more).
